"We want to reunite the established democracies of Western Europe with the re-emerging democracies in the east". Where on earth does "re-unite" come from? Is Mr Cook on something? Why should we want to unite with re-emerging democracies anyway? Where is the advantage to Britain or is that a politically incorrect question?
